Kære medlem

Vi har gennemgået freelance-aftalen i overenskomsten, også kendt som “Bilag I“. Den freelance aftale vi havde lavet med selskabet, viste sig svær at implementere, hvorfor vi har gået med til små-ændringer, således aftalen hurtigere kan implementeres. Samtidig opfylder aftalen nu 30% beskæftigelsesreglen i Norwegian, hvilket betyder, at crew på freelance kontrakt fremover vil have tilgang til ID billetter (det havde man ikke med den gamle aftale). Aftalen tilsigter også – og denne del er der ikke ændret på – at crew på freelance kontrakt tjener under grænsen for tilbagebetaling af SU, dvs. det kan stadig svare sig at tilvælge et studiejob i Norwegian. Samtidig kan crew på fast kontrakt købe en freelance til at arbejde for dem og freelancere kan vælge at arbejde ekstra hvis de ønsker det. Et par ekstra arbejdsdage per måned, bør fortsat ligge indenfor grænsen for SU berettigelse uden tilbagebetaling.

De mest markante ændringer i den nye protokol, kommer til at kunne læses her eller findes under dokumenter –> protokoller, så snart aftalen er underskrevet (den er ikke klar endnu). De mest markante ændringer kan du også læse herunder:

  • Freelancere arbejder hver anden weekend (lør/søn) og tildeles enten weekender i lige- eller i ulige uger, maksimalt 4 arbejdsdage pr kalendermåned.
  • Freelancere kan bytte med hinanden, såfremt ugen ikke passer i studieprogrammet.
  • I sommermånederne arbejder freelance hver anden forlænget weekend (fre-man) og dermed maksimalt 8 arbejdsdage per kalendermåned.
  • Freelancere kan melde ind, hvis de ønsker at arbejde mere.
  • Freelancere opretholder 30% beskæftigelsesreglen og har derfor tilgang til ID-billetter jvf. den til enhver tid gældende ID-policy.

We have reviewed the freelance agreement in the collective agreement, also known as “Appendix I“. The freelance agreement we had made with the company proved difficult to implement, which is why we have agreed to minor changes, allowing for quicker implementation. At the same time, the agreement now meets the 30% employment rule in Norwegian, meaning that crew on freelance contracts will now have access to ID tickets (which was not the case with the old agreement). The agreement also aims – and this part has not been changed – for crew on freelance contracts to earn below the repayment threshold for student grants, meaning it can still be beneficial to choose a student job at Norwegian. Additionally, crew on permanent contracts can hire a freelancer to work for them, and freelancers can choose to work extra if they wish. A few extra working days per month should still fall within the eligibility threshold for student grants without repayment.

The most significant changes in the new protocol can be read here or found under dokumenter –> protokoller as soon as the agreement is signed (it is not ready yet). You can also read the most significant changes below:

  • Freelancers work every other weekend (Sat/Sun) and are assigned either even or odd weeks, with a maximum of 4 working days per calendar month.
  • Freelancers can swap shifts with each other if a week does not fit into their study schedule.
  • During the summer months, freelancers work every other extended weekend (Fri-Mon), with a maximum of 8 working days per calendar month.
  • Freelancers can report if they wish to work more.
  • Freelancers maintain the 30% employment rule and therefore have access to ID tickets according to the current ID policy.
